A rotary switch on the centre console lets the driver access the five configured drive modes. The DBX S gearbox has been further modified to provide an even more memorable driving experience with enhanced abilities across all modes. Change-up points are adjusted to reflect the car’s extended rev range, while downshifts in Sport and Sport+ modes when the car is in automatic are even more aggressive. Select 'Terrain' for off-road. 'GT' to maximise touring comfort. 'Sport' mode for responsive road driving and 'Individual' to select personal preferences across suspension, steering and exhaust.

The largest brakes ever fitted to a production Aston Martin SUV bring it from a heart-pumping top speed of 193mph to a heart-stopping halt. Managing heat that could warp steel. Near inexhaustible braking performance provided by carbon ceramic disc brakes at each corner. 420mm at the front, 390mm at the rear. Confidence boosting brakes with a reduction in unsprung mass for greater agility and improved steering feel.
